BY CAR: Download a personal road map, travel route directions, distance and estimated journey time, at the AA's website "Route planner" and enter your starting address plus the Friends Meeting House (destination) postcode: CB10 1AA.
From A14/M11 Southbound: From the A14 take the M11 southbound and leave at junction 10. At the roundabout take 1st exit [Left} along A505 and follow signs to Saffron Walden, passing along A1301 and B184.
From Cambridge: Leave via Babraham Road [Hills Rd/Addenbrooke's hospital] or Shelford Road [Trumpington], drive south following signs to Saffron Walden.
Car Parking: Just as you enter Saffron Walden from the Cambridge direction [B184, Bridge Street], turn right along New Pond Lane [signposted to golf course (brown sign) and car park] - see photo...
If you pass the old Eight Bells pub on left-hand side of road you have missed the right turn!
At the roundabout on New Pond Lane, Turn R into Swan Meadow Car Park....
You can park here for up to 6 hours for £2.30 or all day for £3.
The Meeting House is 5 mins walk from this car park. Leave the car park via the path past the toilet block....
This path joins "Park Lane", passing on the left a magnificent weeping willow tree....
At the end of Park Lane, turn right at the Cross Keys Hotel T-junction, to walk up the High St.....
The Friends Meeting House is on the right-hand side of the High Street, next door to 69A.
