Sue says....

"I have worked in the field of Holistic Therapies and Healing for almost 20 years. In that time I have been employed by Social Services as a therapist, working to provide a service of much needed support and respite for Carers, adults with learning disabilities, Alzheimer sufferers and those with mental health issues. When this service was withdrawn, I became self-employed as a result of my clients requesting to continue to receive their treatments with me on a private basis instead. I had always been fascinated in the ability to channel healing and in the mid 1990's, I became interested in and studied Reiki with Taggart King. In 2001, I was invited to join the renowned Reiki Evolution School of Professional Healing as an associate Master Teacher.

"Since that time, I have studied other healing modalities and during a session of Past Life Regression in 2001, discovered to my surprise that I had previously led a life as a Maori Shaman. At the time I had little knowledge of exactly what this meant, but my inquisitiveness was piqued and so I have been on a journey of 're-discovery' ever since.

"In 2009, I qualified as a Hypnotherapist as I thought I would like to branch out and learn something that I believed would be a different path, however it soon became clear to me, that this therapy and in fact any other form of healing or support and assistance that you provide to another sentient being is one and the same in essence, when it works towards their highest personal good. In 2011 I completed my Advanced Level Shamanic Practitioner training.

"At the time of writing this, I am currently working full-time as a Therapist in Shamanic and Reiki Healing, Reflexology and Hawaiian massage, Tibetan Acupressure and as a Hypnotherapist. I teach Reiki at all levels and facilitate other workshop days on subjects such as Crystals and Psychic development and Massage."
