This workshop provides a rare opportunity to experience a wide range of simple, easy meditation practices to find what is just right for you at this point in your life - to lower stress and build optimum healthy functioning of mind, body and spirit, emotions and immune system.
We will teach short sessions of sitting, lying and moving meditations, breath-based meditation, guided meditation, affirmation-based meditation, mandala-meditations, sound-meditation, chanted meditation, danced meditation, walking meditation, Vipassana (insight) meditation, transcendental meditation and open-eyed nature meditation.

Change Your Body Language - Change Your Life! Body Language signals are a subtle, yet very instant and powerful, form of human communication. We unconsciously radiate out our innermost feelings and states all the time and other people pick up and are affected by them - largely without any conscious awareness. Research has shown that 60-70 percent of communication and relationship success is down to non-spoken communication such as body posture, gestures, facial expressions, eyes and tone of voice. In this course you will learn how to become more aware of - and change if you wish - your unconsciously-radiated, non-spoken signals in a range of situations. Sometimes we don't realise, or intend, that we radiate coldness, disinterest, rejection, disgust, superiority, low self-esteem etc. You will become more skilful at recognising and interpreting the non-spoken signals of others. These skills are essential to success in relationships at work or in the home or in any situation where we interact with others. Children and animals are especially sensitive to body-language communication. Body language provides clues to the real feelings, attitudes or state of mind of another person. It can tell us whether we are liked or not, whether someone is at ease with us or hostile. Whether or not someone is telling the truth and can indicate repressed states of anger, anxiety, aggression, attentiveness, boredom, pleasure, sympathy, compassion, sarcasm, scorn, amusement etc. Tutor: Michael Meredith physiologist, healer & professional stress management trainer. |
