One of the craziest things we humans say is "I am enjoying myself". I say this is a crazy expression because when we use it what we actually mean is that we are enjoying something OTHER THAN OURSELF - something "out there" in the world such as a party, a TV show, or an animated conversation. The truth is that many of us, for much of the time, are DEFINITELY NOT enjoying OURSELF - we may even need a constant stream of "outside stuff" (entertainment, relationships, etc) to even be temporarily happy. Without continual external distractions and support we may find ourself obsessed with worries, fearful "horror fantasy" imaginings and bad dreams.

In these times of "credit crunch" and "economic recession" there has never been a more important time to build our "Positive Thinking" and "Mood Management" skills. All around us, and even inside us, there are influences which consistently undermine our confidence, optimism, motivation and effectiveness - draining our energy, sapping our enthusiasm, deadening our spirit, restricting or even paralysing us so that moving forwards or getting things done becomes a constant uphill struggle.
Positive Thinking is an attractive, infectious and potent platform for success, wellbeing and nourishing relationships - an essential glue that holds healthy, partnerships and teams together and keeps them focussed, creative and productive. An upbeat mood, tone of voice and body language draws the co-operation and support of like-minded others, providing a solid foundation for our emotional, physical and psychological health. Participants gain a deeper understanding of their personal patterns and issues around unhelpful mood and thought patterns. They leave with a range of strategies for shifting and transforming unhelpful mood and thought patterns.
