The Healing Work of "John of God"
The most amazing healer of our era - and quite possibly of any era! - is the quiet Brazilian man who over 3 decades has earned the nickname "Joao De Deus" ("John of God"). You can read more about him in this posting to the Cambridge Healing & Holistic Lifestyle Group "CHEAL".
Two healers from Cambridge spent 3 weeks with Joao De Deus last year, studying his work and receiving personal healing. They will be present at our film showings this Thursday evening, to tell their own experiences, and to answer any questions.
Joao does not claim any credit for his healings, he ascribes these to a variety of "channelled" healing spirits that work through him. You can see and judge for yourself in the three out-of-this-world film clips we will be showing about his work (made by three different documentary makers). In these films you will see...

Healing Touch is an intuitive combination of massage/aura/reiki therapy - basic instruction will be provided if you have not done this before).

PLEASE NOTE: These evenings are open to people of any religion, spiritual path, or agnostic. The approaches, exercises and practices are mostly holistic, so they sometimes involve opening or connecting to our personal concept of what is "divine" for guidance, motivation and empowerment. The evenings are approached from a "sacred" (= making things "special") perspective i.e. mutual respect and support and respect for nature, all living beings and our surroundings, plus honouring healing (i.e. what we do) as an ancient, socially responsible and sacred tradition.
