Steps to Self-Empowerment...
...Clearing Self-Sabotage!
Introduction to our Cambridge UK Workshop
Self-Sabotage ("shooting ourself in the foot", "being our own worst enemy") is one of the commonest obstacles to creating what we really, really, want in our life and in our relationships.
Self-destructive patterns can appear in a variety of forms:
- "Beating ourselves up" when things go wrong;
- Life feels like a constant struggle;
- Being drawn to destructive relationships;
- Over-indulgence in food, drink, drugs or sex;
- "Retail Therapy" - shopaholic tendencies;
- Harming our health with junk food, alcohol or smoking;
- Lack of motivation, low energy, low vitality;
- Stuckness, Lack of success in our endeavours;
- Eating disorders;
- Hanging out with "losers";
- Hanging out with people who bring out the worst in us;
- Itchy skin problems;
- Accident-proneness;
- Self-neglect;
- Low self-esteem, Lack of confidence;
- Vulnerability to abuse or neglect;
- "Foot in mouth" - Saying things we later regret;
- A troubled conscience - Sleeping problems - Bad dreams;
- Self-deprecating or self-defeating speech or behaviour;
- Weighed down with cares, responsibilities or regrets;
- Feeling separate from, or inferior to, other people.
This workshop will help you to uncover the ways in which you are sabotaging your success and happiness right now. You will be taught simple cognitive therapy techniques and shamanic healing practices that can unravel and heal the roots of self-sabotage.
